Oona Airola (born in 1988 in Kokkola) is a Finnish actress and singer.
Trained at the Central Ostrobothnia Conservatory of Music and graduating from the Theatre Academy of Helsinki in 2015, she made her film debut in Juho Kuosmanen's The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki (Hymyilevä mies, 2016), winning the Jussi Award for Best Supporting Actress. She went on to win the Jussi Award for Best Leading Actress for her performance in Land of Hope (Oma maa, 2018).
In cinema, she has notably appeared in Aurora (2019), Dogs Don't Wear Pants (2019), Girl Picture (Tytöt tytöt tytöt, 2022), and The Missile (Ohjus, 2024), a performance for which she won the Dragon Award for Best Acting at the Göteborg Film Festival. On television, she has held lead and recurring roles in several series, including Hotel Swan Helsinki, Cargo (Rahti), and Helsinki Syndrome.
