Rodrigo Moreno del Valle (Lima, 1983) is a Peruvian film director and screenwriter. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from San Ignacio de Loyola University. He has directed five short films to date: On Betamax (2007), Lunch Secrets (2008), The Rules of the Game (2010), Sunday (2010), and The Tree (2011), which have been screened at various festivals and competitions and have won several awards. The Tree, his latest short film, received the 2011 Extraordinary National Short Film Award from the Ministry of Culture for Best Short Film by unanimous jury vote, as well as an Honorable Mention for Best Cinematography. It also received a Special Jury Mention at the 16th Lima Film Festival for Best Fiction Short Film. In addition, he has worked as a commercial director since late 2009, currently with Saturno, where he has produced several television commercials for various brands and products. [Wi:k] is his first feature film and it premiered at the 18th BAFICI edition. In addition, he teaches at the Peruvian Institute of Advertising (IPP) where he teaches the course "Advertising Film Production".
