Alain Salinas

Alaín Salinas is an actor. Trained at the Kuntur Cultural Association (Huaraz), he studied acting at the Virgilio Rodríguez Nache Higher School of Dramatic Art (Trujillo) and in Roberto Ángeles' acting workshop. His career spans film, theater, and television. In film, he starred in the movie Devenir (2024), directed by Ricardo Yui, and has worked on Wañuy (Alejandro Roca Rey and Federico Abril), among others. In theater, he has acted in Detrás ruge el lago (2024) and La vida en otros planetas (2023 and 2024), both directed by Mariana de Althaus, as well as in Muerte en el Pentagonito (Ricardo Uceda), Cruzar la calle (Daniel Amaru Silva), Bolognesi en Arica (Alonso Alegría), and La cautiva (2014) by Luis Alberto León. She has represented Peru at the Adelante Ibero-American Theatre Festival (Germany, 2017), the Mirada Ibero-American Performing Arts Festival (Brazil, 2016), the Santiago a Mil International Festival (Chile, 2016), the Cervantino International Festival (Mexico, 2015), and the Buenos Aires International Festival (Argentina, 2015).
