Rhoslynne Bugay is a first-generation Filipino-Canadian actress, singer, and dancer. Raised in Toronto, Kingston, and the Philippines, she developed a strong passion for math, science, music, and the dramatic arts. Her love for storytelling found expression in high school plays, musicals, and award-winning jazz ensembles.
Driven by her curiosity and affinity for film and television, Rhoslynne explored opportunities in that aspect of the industry. She appeared in several commercials and made her crossover to film in the cult classic Silent Hill, where she portrayed one of the main Dark Nurses. She also gained valuable experience performing in theaters across Canada, with her favorite role being Nala in Disney's The Lion King.
As her career progressed, she began booking more television roles until her focus shifted when she became a mother. During this time, Rhoslynne dedicated herself to her family, finding inspiration in her eldest daughter to rekindle her passion for storytelling and acting.
Her recent work includes the role of Dr. Aranda in the feature film Bloody Hell, which premiered internationally at SXSW 2023. Rhoslynne recurs as Danielle Ramos in season 3 of the Apple TV+ produced series Ghostwriter, Aurora in Topline, and Murdoch Mysteries, and has been seen in Sort of, Private Eyes, The Parker Anderson's, and Kim's Convenience.
