Saeed Nejati is an award-winning Iranian filmmaker, born in Arak in 1981. He is celebrated for works such as “Sorahi,” which garnered the Best International Film award at the 32nd Tehran Short Film Festival, as well as notable short films like “It Rains Slowly” and “Dabur”. Over his career, Nejati has served as a jury member at international festivals, including the Dhaka International Short Film Festival, Izmir Film Festival, and Tehran International Short Film Festival and continues to contribute to the industry by mentoring younger filmmakers. Nejati is also known as the founder and chairman of the Iran Open-Air International Film Festival.
