Born on June 7 in Mexico City, Vicente Garibay Lijanova is a young filmmaker with a degree in Digital Film and Post-production from SAE Institute and co-creator of Cine Acrílico. His areas of specialization include Direction, Production, and Editing. His love for cinema began at the age of twelve, and he has taken numerous workshops at CCC, ENAC, and CasAzul, which have been fundamental in defining his career as a filmmaker.
Vicente has been awarded and selected at prestigious festivals such as Doqumenta, Shorts México, Newport Beach, Feratum, and Macabro, thanks to his short films "Sonríe," "Liubov," "Dosis de Dopamina," and "Silencio Aislado." Additionally, he has received financial support from R7D in 2022 and FOCINE in 2024. Currently, he is dedicated to distributing and producing short films and feature films while writing his debut feature film.
