Gon Busquets (Buenos Aires, 1992) is a screenwriter and film director. He first explored journalism and acting before discovering his passion behind the camera, which led him to study at the Eliseo Subiela Film School in Argentina. He has written and directed five fiction short films and one documentary short, selected at Festival Shnit Buenos Aires (Argentina), BARCIFF (Spain), Festival Cinema Zero and Job Film Days (Italy), and Vórtice Festival de Cine (Colombia), among others.
As a producer and distributor, Gon took part of 'Three small cartons' and 'I don't love you anymore (but you keep blowing my mind)', which were selected at festivals such as Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre, Filmets Badalona Film Festival and Brooklyn SciFi Film Festival.
In 2024, Gon was selected by Film Talent Academy for the First Feature Lab, including a residency in Cannes and participation in the Marché du Film 2025.
