Renowned and celebrated as one of cinema's best cinematographers Yorick Le Saux graduated with a degree in cinematography from the Parisian film school, La Femis.
From the gorgeously emotional lensing of “I Am Love” – nominated for a Golden Globe in 2011 - to the no-frills documentary style of “Carlos,” – also nominated for a golden globe, as well as winning Best Foreign Language Film and Best Director from the Los Angeles Critic Association in 2009, Le Saux is one of the most adaptable D.Ps in today’s industry.
Yorick has received awards and nominations from the Golden Globes, the European Film Awards, the Cannes, Berlin and Venice Film festivals as well the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.
He frequently works with directors such as Olivier Assayas, Luca Guadagnino, Jim Jarmusch, Nicolas Jarecki and François Ozon and has done commercials for an array of clients like Prada, Chanel, Versace and Trussadi.
