Luke Bufton (born 15 January 2002) is a Director, Writer & Actor from England. Known for award-nominated short film 'Sympathy for the Devil' Bufton runs and oversees independent production company Petrichor Productions, alongside long-time friend and collaborator, Finn O'Toole. As part of his collaboration with O'Toole, he has worked on award-winning short films including 'On the Corner of Nowhere' and 'No One Can Hear You' Raised in Portsmouth, Bufton quickly took an interest in art and media, shooting and acting in his own home-made films. He later earned a degree in Film from Bournemouth University where he met Director of Photography Emily Burge, before setting up Petrichor Productions with O'Toole as a way to build a community of fellow filmmakers and creatives with whom the pair could work and develop productions in tandem with. Alongside O'Toole, Bufton has recently founded and developed the 'Reel Change' Film Festival in support of Medical Aid for Palestine (MAP) with the intention of making it an annual event for indie filmmakers to showcase their work and network with other creatives.
