Josiah Tollison (b. November 7, 2005) is a student filmmaker from Hagonoy, Bulacan. He is currently studying BA Film at the University of the Philippines Diliman. His love of cinema began as a curiosity of weaving stories on iMovie. Now, he continues to craft films centered on narratives of spatiality, urbanization, and Filipinos' relationship to it, as in his film Crossings (We Shall Return).
He has produced short films such as Nang Matakasan ang Tagay (dir. Giancarlo Santiago, 2026), a grantee of the 3rd Puregold Cinepanalo Film Festival, Perslab (dir. Ronnie Ramos, 2025), a finalist of the 38th Gawad Alternatibo, and dreaming you dream of me (dir. Kimi Ong, 2026). His own film, Barangay Hero: Tips Kung Paano siya Mapa-sayo! (2024) was a finalist for the Nabunturan Film Exhibition and premiered at Sine Bulacan XII. His second film, Crossings (We Shall Return) (2026), is part of the official selection at the 8th Sinag Maynila Film Festival. He was also a participant at the FDCP x FSG Screenwriting Workshop held in Malolos, Bulacan.
