Nick Archer is an award-winning writer and director known for his strong visual style and unusual method of storytelling.
He was born in Leicester in 1983, and later moved to Nottingham. In 2000 he studied Media at South Nottingham College in Clifton where he became passionate about film.
In 2002 he co-founded a small film production group called OTT Productions and spent the next 12 years making various lo-budget shorts and a feature.
During this time he moved into photography of various types, and with ongoing work as a commercial photographer and music video director. Throughout this time he has worked hard to develop a personal style of story telling, cinematography and direction. At the beginning of 2014 OTT Productions was closed and he co-founded a group of filmmakers and actors called Coalescent Films.
With Coalescent Films Nick has produced a number of short films, some small features and a series, including popular shorts such as 'Car Park' and 'Gemini', and the multi-award-winning 'Arabesque'.
