Born in 1949. In 1979, graduated from Image Forum Institute of Moving Image. He began his artist career in the 1970s as a poet and a filmmaker. His works are characterized by camerawork that seems to express the inside of himself, and the many references to sexual and violent motifs. And his style has been described by some film critics as “Baudelaire’s cinema”. He presented his works at the Image Forum Cinematheque/Festivals, and other experimental film screenings. His films include: Impossible [不可能] (1979), Snapshot[スナップショット] (1988), RUSH(1990).
