Two brothers have been estranged for years, unaware of each other's lives. They meet again and face off in a final duel to try to resolve a deception that separated them and led to the destruction of their family and the death of their father, a prestigious chess master. Fénix, a former world chess champion, defeated by a fraud committed in his past, lives trapped in dishonor and guilt. Héctor, also a chess master, remains trapped by anger and the need for revenge.
