Franco Vaccari produces this video in 1971, the year preceding his participation in the Venice Art Biennale with his milestone work, "Esposizione in Tempo Reale. Lascia una traccia fotografica del tuo passaggio." The stray dogs portrayed become protagonists in a slow-motion film, enhancing the relationship between the mechanical camera (the mechanical eye) and the animals inevitably feeling observed. The slow-moving image has been chosen to explore this phenomenon in its totality, bringing to evidence every possible detail which otherwise would have been lost.
