Years after the suicide of my bipolar grandmother, I discover her autobiographical account in which she recounts her experience of mental illness, her sentimental disillusions and her deep loneliness. In search of the truth, I decide to compare his testimony to the family films shot by my grandfather and to the memories of those close to him.
